Admissions & Readiness Assessment
Admissions assessment that strengthens career education.
RISE is a configurable admissions assessment built for career colleges. It measures the cognitive skills that predict who completes a program—built for career college students, tailored to yours. Add optional layers like persistence and training as you need them.
Two Assessments, One Platform
RISE Admissions Assessment
At its core, RISE is a cognitive assessment measuring the skills career programs actually demand:
- Reading comprehension
- Quantitative reasoning
- Information literacy
- Procedural reasoning
Choose RISE Core for more advanced programs or RISE Fundamentals for entry-level programs. Both calibrate to your own successful students, so the passing line reflects who actually finishes in your programs—not a national average.
Optional Layers
Persistence & Readiness — Measures whether applicants are likely to finish, not just whether they can do the work. Behavioral questions that are much harder to game than self-ratings.
Training — Turns a near-miss into a path forward. When an applicant falls short, RISE routes them to focused modules targeting the exact areas they need to strengthen.
Online Readiness (ORA) — A separate assessment that gauges whether an applicant is set up to succeed in an online or hybrid program—the self-direction, habits, and environment online learning demands.
Simple Pricing
$5 per applicant. One flat price covers either assessment, every optional layer you add, and all retakes. Billed monthly based on usage—no setup fees, no upfront license, no annual contract.
